Grandparents, VIPs, and students collaborated to make this beautiful tapestry. From grades PreK to 8th grade, students and grandparents decorated Popsicle sticks on Grandparents' Day. They were then assembled into this colorful wall hanging.
Kindness is contagious. Thus, art students at SES created these inspiring rocks with messages of kindness on them. They will be placing them around the city of Nashville, in the hopes of spreading smiles upon those who might find them. Kindness rocks y'all!
The Mini Masterpiece Art Club had a t-shirt design contest. After voting, we started to print the winning design onto our t-shirts! Next, we will add color with some fabric markers. Can't wait to see these artists wearing their shirts on Art Club day!
First, we came up with a design then made our own screens to print on the shirts. We used awesome neon fabric markers to decorate them. Art Club kids are Cray Cray for art!
A quick hello to my new students, parents, and colleagues at St. Edward's School. My name is Amy Weiss and I have just recently moved from Tampa to Nashville with my husband. We are thoroughly enjoying our time in Nashville, from the spicy chicken to the music scene, we love it all! I look forward to meeting you all and creating wonderful works of art with our students.
We hung up our POPular Food Tiles. Fourth and Fifth graders voted on which foods were the most popular at our school. They then used bright colors to decorate their handmade clay tiles with delicious food items. Now they are hanging in our cafeteria!
